Dokdo, the easternmost territory of Korea, is very meaningful to Koreans. It is mainly composed of two islets and the total area is about 187,450 square meters. Today, Dokdo remains as a place of heated disputation in between Korea and Japan. Although, there are strong historical evidence and records that Dokdo is indisputably Korean territory since the 6th Century, Japan now insists that Dokdo is Japanese territory called Takeshima. The purpose of this blog is to spread the awareness of Dokdo.

I'm glad you're doing this! Suggestions for shirts, though: 1. Keep them in english and as simple as possible. Perhaps in large letters "Dokdo, Korea" because the important thing is getting the message across by ppl just glancing at the shirt 2. Try to have these shirts on sale for a cheap price. Then high school and college clubs, Korean-Am. communities, and Korean culture organizations can purchase and disperse them across the nation. This can help raise awareness not only in your state but also in largely populated regions in the remaining 49 (: Keep up the good work! With Dokdo, you can publicize the East Sea as well.

Dokdo?? The islands belong to Japan. With the US supports, to get back the islands to Japan.
